Winter Service Project's Success

Pack 135 was proud to help the community in New Gloucester by collecting a record amount of food for the food pantry. This year, Pack 135 collected over 400 pounds of food for the community!

The Pack also participated in the Caring for Communities Holiday Assistamce program - responsible for helping several families in the area with financial assistance and holiday gifts. Pack 135 donated presents for 4 families helping 9 children in our town have a nice Christmas!

 

Webelo's Fall 2009 Nature Hike

Webelos Nature Hike @ Libbey Hill was Awesome - Perfect Weather, it was 50 degrees and SUNNY. We did 3.25 miles of trails.

Community Fair Huge Success

New Gloucester Cub Scout Pack 135 helped raide over $300 for Lungs for George thanks to Jeff Hunnewell ans Summit Extreme Sports for providing us with the use of the extremely popular rock climnbing/bungee jump wall.

There were children in line all day, average 30 minute wait! Bake Sale and Coffee were huge success also! The Pack also ran the Sunday morning Pancake Breakfast which was also very successfull. All in all a great event. Much thanks to all the parents, scouts and leaders who volunteered to make this year's Community Fair an incredible event!

2009 National Summertime Pack Award

New Gloucester Cub Scout Pack 135 has earned the National Summertime Pack Award for the second year in a row by having well over 50 percent participation in summer activities including the huge end of the year BBQ that featured the popular Rock Climbing/Bungee Jump Wall courtesy of Jeff Hunnewell's Summit Extreme Sports. Many scouts and volunteer parents also attended the week long Day Camp, Fun Pack Weekend and Webelos Resident Camp at Camp William Hinds in Raymond, Maine this summer!
